In June, the 9^th Conference of the UN Committee for Human Settlements about the research in urbanism and regional development took place in Leeds, England. The theme of the conference – sustainable and vital towns – had three sub-topics: urbanised society and economy, improvement of urban infrastructure and urban ecosystems and management of towns’ development.
