Environmental resolves and objectives of the Programme Declaration of the Slovak Government
According to the Programme Declaration of the Slovak Government approved in November 2002, the Slovak Government considers the care of the environment a decisive instrument of sustainable development and a natural component part of well-functioning economy based on the principles of efficient energy use and on the integration of three interconnected pillars supporting each other – economic, social and environmental. The Government focuses on institutional issues, integrated territorial protection and the protection of environmental components.
