ENVIROFILM – the film festival focused on the environment, organised by the Slovak Environmental Agency, became during its existence a platform of meetings of many filmmakers, producers and thousands of visitors. Zdenka Tóthová – the State Secretary of the Ministry of the Environment of the SR and the Festival Director - is of the opinion that film is a medium with an important position in environmental education. It can provide much factographic information to audience as well as emotional experience.
