• carries out analyses and provides expert information for economic tools development and implementation to ensure the care of the environment,
• evaluates the economic tools efficiency in the system of the care of the environment,
• implements the state financial and budgetary policy with a special focus on proper use of the budgetary means and means provided from the State Environmental Fund  of  the SR,
• ensures, from the financial and accounting point of view, the SEA's work and operation in fulfilment its statutory obligations and implements measures and directives of MoE and other state administration bodies in this field of the SEA's activity.
