provides advisory and professional-methodical
services,

verifies and applies new procedures
and methods on model territories,

provides for the development of basic
information for the processing of legal standards, technical standards
and methodical instruments, participates in the development of laws
and other legal regulations,

carries out educational and promotion
activities,
-
participates in the development of
conceptual and strategic materials, development plans, studies, overviews,
standpoints and reports on the national, international, cross-border and
regional level for MoE, including the participation in the development
of other Ministries? documents,
-
carries out the expert activity and
expert evaluation of documentations,
-
collects and processes data necessary
for other SEA?s tasks and monitors development trends in individual professional
fields,
-
implements strategic ministerial documents,
-
carries out the administration of the
SEA?s housing fund,
-
through its representative, performs
the function of the national focal point of the European Environment Agency
and is the national co-ordinator of the European Information and Observation
Network (EIONET).
