for the Spatial Development

provides for the processing of the
Strategy of the Spatial Development of the Slovak Republic, monitors conditions
of the spatial development, its protection and landscape formation, the
implementation of Slovakia Spatial Development Perspectives and development
of regions as set in the territorial-planning documents also in connection
with neighbouring countries. Defines collisions of interests between conceptual
documents and territorial-planning documents, develops partial outputs
and uses them in the processing of analytical and conceptual materials
of the spatial development and in the researches and analyses of the development
of the Slovakia Spatial Development Perspective.

monitors the implementation of physical
planning instruments,

executes activities transferred by
MoE, i.e. the operation of executive secretariats for the Village Restoration
Programme and international co-operation (the Slovak-Polish Commission,
Slovak-Hungarian Commission, ARGE Donauländer, EEC UN Committee for Human
Settlements, HABITAT II, etc.)

co-ordinates the Village Restoration
Programme in Slovakia and provides the expert support to it,
