of the Slovak socialist Republic
from June 20th, 1977
which determines supplying water flows and their watersheds, and determines water flows, important from water management point of view
The Ministry of Forest and Water Management of the Slovak socialist Republic, after negotiating with relevant central state administration bodies and with relevant regional national committees, establishes according to the article 20 par. 2 and the article 32 par. 1 of the Act No. 138/1973 Coll. on Waters (the Water Act):
PART ONE
Supplying water flows and their watersheds
Article 1
Supplying water flows are parts of water flows, determined to be source of the water for mass water supplying for citizens, listed in the Annex No. 1 to this Regulation (hereafter Annex). Starting point of supplying water flow is determined by the spring of water flow. In case, that at the same place of water flow, there is another part determined for supplying water flow, then its starting point is determined by the locality, listed in the Annex. Final point of supplying water flow is determined by transverse profile of water flow at the place of withdrawal of water for mass water supplying for citizens, and if elevated water is being withdrawn, then the final point of supplying water flow is being determined by the profile of the dike or dam, by which the withdrawn water is being elevated; position of these profiles is determined in the Annex by the name of surrounding locality.
Article 2
Watershed of supplying water flow is the area, from which the ground waters naturally flow into water flow to the profile, determining final point of supplying water flow, as well as area, from which the ground waters are being artificially brought to the watershed of supplying water flow.
Article 3
Besides the buildings, facilities, respectively activities, already listed in the article 13 of the Water Act, the approval from relevant water management body for following buildings, facilities or activities in the watershed of supplying water flow, is necessary:
a) big-capacity buildings for animal production, for which it is being
considered:
1 buildings for breeding the cattle, that are the buildings for milking
cows with total capacity of 400 pieces and more, buildings for calf
from 800 pieces, breeding places for young cattle from 500 pieces,
stall objects for breeding cattle for fattening from 500 pieces,
2 buildings for breeding pigs, that are the buildings for fattening pigs
with total capacity from 5000 pieces and birth places for pigs and
breeding places for pigs in pre-fattening, with total capacity from
700 pieces,
b) ground silos and objects of silo facilities,
c) buildings of hospitals, medical places and other facilities and
establishments, with which, there is the possibility of formation of
infection diseases danger, related
d) mining, modification and using of radioactive materials, respectively
poisons, 1)
e) air application of manure and chemical materials for protection of
plants,
f) objects for storing and manipulation with petroleum materials, and
objects for storing artificial manure and sprinkling protection
materials.

PART TWO
Water flows, important from water management point of view
Article 4
Water flows, important from water management point of view, are those water flows, respectively their water management complete parts, which are listed in the Annex No. 2 to this Regulation.
Article 5
The provisions, regulating the execution of state administration in the field of water management in reserved areas of the Czechoslovak People Army and armed security forces, 2) are not being touched by the provisions of this part.

PART THREE
Common and final provisions
Article 6
Water management bodies issue the provisions in reserved areas of the Czechoslovak People Army in co-operation with military administration. 3) The protection of the waters at this area is being arranged according to the agreement between the Federal Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Forest and Water Management of the Slovak socialist Republic.

Article 7
This Regulation enters into force on the day of its announcement.
