Trend in a total number of vehicles in Bratislava related to the whole Slovakia situation is given in the graphs below. Trend in the number  of vehicles based on vehicles categories in Bratislava - in relation to whole  Slovakia average number is as follows:

increase by 1% (12.7% in 1997 as compared to 13.7% in 1996) was recorded in the number of passenger cars
other categories show a steady decline:

lorries - 11.7% (in 1994) to 10.4% (in 1996)
vans - 13.8% (in 1994) to 11.9% (in 1996)
special lorries - 10.7% (in 1994) to 9.6% (in 1996).
