Drevinove zlozenie lesov Slovenska

Tato pocítacom spracovaná mapa je výsledkom spolupráce medzi CMS (ciastkový monitorovací systém) LESY a DPZ ( Dialkový prieskum Zeme). Tieto CMS sú súcastou Informacného systému zivotného prostredia SR. Druhy lesa boli mapované na úrovni mierky 1:100 000 na základe obrazových údajov zo satelitov LANDSAT Thematic Mapper (šest scén z obdobia rokov 1990 az 1993). Pre kazdú scénu bol vytvoreny tienovaný model reliéfu s ohšadom na príslušný azimut a výšku Slnka v case snímania satelitom. Pri klasifikácii boli pouzité ako podporne údaje z databanky LIC (Lesnicke informacne centrum) Lesprojektu Zvolen z opisu porastov a udaje z lesnych oblasti Slovenska (Vladovic a kol., Lesoprojekt 1994). Jednotlivé klasifikované lesne dreviny sú uvedene v prilozenej tabulke. Pixel ( ktorého priestorová rozlišovacia schopnost je 30 x 30 metrov v teréne) bol zahrnutý do kategórie zmiešaných porastov v takých prípadoch, ked vierohodnost jeho klasifikacie bola nizšia ako stanovená hodnota (väcšinou 50 %). Verifikácia klasifikacie sa vykonala na 412 tréningových plochách a celková vierohodnost je v intervale 75 - 85 %. Pocas spracovania boli pouzité systémy na spracovanie obrazu EASI-PACE firmy PCI Int. and GIS system ArcInfo, ArcView od firmy ESRI. Mate moznost vidiet vzhlad celkovej mapovej kompozície Drevinova skladba lesov Slovenska v agregovanej forme. Detail z oblasti Oravy, Liptovskej kotliny a okolia Bratislavy, pripadne legendu

Tree Species Composition in Slovakia

This computer map is the result of cooperation between the Partial Monitoring System FOREST and the Partial Monitoring System REMOTE SENSING which are vital components of the SLOVAK ENVIRONMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM. The forest species are mapped at a scale level 1:100 000 based on the satellite images LANDSAT Thematic Mapper (six scenes over a period of 3 year period 1990 - 1993). Shaded raster terrain model of Slovakia was compiled for the coresponding Sun azimuth and elevation calculated for each satellite scene. Forest description databank at Lesoprojekt Zvolen and information about forest regions were used during the classification stage. The forest species were clasified at the species level. Click species listed in the enclosed table to obtain relevant space distribution of individual species. The pixel (30 x 30 metres) was included in the category of mixed forests in cases when the probability of the commision was lower than the treshold (mostly assigned to 50 %) . The classification was verified using a dataset of 412 training samples and the overall reliability falls into the interval 75 - 85 %. Image analysis system EASI-PACE PCI Int. and ESRI system ArcInfo and ArcView were used during the processing stage ( you may see map composition in agregated form) along with some detailed subsets from Orava, Liptovska kotlina and Bratislava and surroundings an map legend
