62  mineral water springs occurs within the district of Banska Bystrica.
The  research of  mineral  waters was completed in the second half-year 1992.
Mineral water springs are  plotted in  the overview map  at scale 1: 250 000 and
 in more detail at scale 1: 10 000 within separate settlements.
Updated brief description and analyses of all mineral water springs identified their
location in alphabetical order is listed in text section.
Nowadays  these mineral waters are exploited only as a source of tasty drinking
water for local citizens or  visitors accidentally passing  by.
The photodocumentation of each  mineral water spring is enclosed in the text section, too.
During the research  we  found out , that some springs were damaged when various
facilities were built and one of them is unregistered.
The analyses of each mineral and healing spring is documented in an archival steam as,
they were interpreted by Engineering-geological and hydro-geological research institute in Zilina
and Balneochemical Laboratory in Piestany.
