Effective Operation and Use of the Protected Landscape Area -Poana

The aim of the seminar was the presentation of the running results of the scientific project solution
with the title: Effective Operation and Use of the Protected Landscape Area-Pona from landscape ecology and wood ecology aspects. The solvers of this long-time project, dividing into about 90 partial tasks, are the experts of the Forestry Research Centre-Zvolen,the Faculty of Ecology and Environment of the Technical University-Zvolen and the Institu of Wood Ecology SAV. The project is financed by the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic and its end will be at the end of 1997.
The seminar is aimed at professional public. The lectures were intented on the environmental monitoring, wood condition in the biosphere reserve, botany and zoology wood ecosystems, genetics
diversity BR and they lead into a proposal of effective operation and use of the biosphere reserve-Pona.
